Therapy to help you connect more with yourself so you can feel more balanced with the world around you

Meet Tara, Your Counselor / Therapist
Hi! I’m Tara. That’s ‘TAR-uh’, not ‘terra’.
How can you tell from reading this whether you’ll like me as your therapist? I believe the best way to “try on” a therapist is to have a session or two and see how it feels. Reading a website is a good start!
I take a warm, positive stance and honor my clients - after all, it takes courage to do something outside your comfort zone in an effort to make things better.
“A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.”
– Frank Herbert, Dune

Supporting Relationships and Family Issues
I see couples to support relationship issues like infidelity, dissatisfaction with physical relationship, communication problems/conflict management, life transitions for one or both partners, or ambiguity about whether to stay together or end their relationship.
I also see folks individually who are facing any number of challenges: feeling unsatisfied with relationships, career challenges, feeling generally adrift or lost in life, grieving a loss, or simply wanting to understand themselves on a deeper level and develop their sense of identity.
But I’m not good at talking about my feelings!
That is a great place to start. Therapy at Process Flow Counseling is not overly emotional but aims to help you balance vulnerability with levity. Like a process flow diagram in the engineering world, together we work to understand how relationships flow in your world. Oftentimes, making small adjustments can lead to meaningful positive change.
